The path of the cookie used to remember sidebar toggle state is being set using sphinx's `DOCUMENTATION_OPTIONS.url_root`. However, when `url_root` is a relative path (e.g. `../`), this causes documentation subdirectories to have a separate cookie & toggle state. This should be fixed by ensuring `url_root` is absolute, probably by combining with `document.location.path`, or checking to see if the `$.cookie` plugin will do this automatically.
