Dialog boxes preventing enchant from changing replaced text.
So I'm trying to do something where a link reveals text in a styled hook, which in this example is supposed to be red, but also to simultaneously display a dialog box.
The moment the dialog is included, the styling on the hook doesn't get applied. It does, however, apply when another styled hook is used.
This behaviour does not seem expected or logical to me. Is there a workaround or fix available?
Edit: A workaround seems to be to apply (text-colour:red) directly to the revealed hook, but obviously this is... a bit awkward.
Code displaying the behaviour follows:
A link follows which you should click: (link:"link 1")[|tf>[and this is supposed to look red](dialog: "This is a dialog box that I want to come up at the same time as the clicked link", "Click to exit dialog box")]
Here's a second link that does the same thing without the dialog box: (link: "link 2")[|tf>[this is also supposed to look red]]
Notice how the first link, if pressed first, doesn't update its enchant to make the text red somehow, because of the dialog box. Also how if the second link, pressed second, DOES update the replaced hook earlier.
(enchant:?tf, via (text-colour:red))
