Pushing a tag, even in a topic, adds it directly in the UI
As discussed in issue #432 (closed), I'm opening new issues for tag related misbehaviors I found.
As the title says, right now, pushing a new tag, even in a topic, adds it in the UI. Since tags are looked by mercurial in the .hgtags
file in the default branch, I think the UI should always reflect what hg tags
would say on this repository.
That would make the UI more consistent with how Mercurial work.
And that would also prevent some guy to come and push a commit with a zillion tags that won’t be removable for the time being (see #448 (closed) and #450) to troll a project.
At the very least, IMO, I think that we should have an option allowing us to lock tags in the UI to those in the .hgtags
in the last commit of the default
branch (or maybe the branch marked as the default one in the settings).
