After RAW video (MLV): Memory Error overflow
Created originally on Bitbucket by Anonymous
I have updated my Canon 700D to 1.1.5 With all Nightly builds for this version I see in the Debug menu a "Memory Error: overflow" after shooting a "RAW video (MLV)". Setting the cursor on the "Memory Error" line the following yellow text is displayed: "overflow[180/180] AllocateMemory(180 B) at mlv.c:162 task raw_rec_tas"
The recorded video is OK as far as I can see.
Searching for the reason I found that this error does not occure in the branch crop_rec_4k. Comparing the mlv.c of the unified and crop_rec_4k shows one difference in line 162: Unified: < int block_length = (strlen(version_string) + sizeof(mlv_vers_hdr_t) + 3) & ~3;
crop_rec_4k: < int block_length = (strlen(version_string) + sizeof(mlv_vers_hdr_t) + 1 + 3) & ~3;
=> A "+ 1" is added.
I copied of the crop_rec_4k version into the unified version, compiled and tested. Result: No Memory Error
This may be the fix.
