Restoring the 50D as a maintained platform

I volunteer to maintain the 50D version of ML. As a first patch, I've backported the 50D-specific FPS warning from TL because it looks like that hadn't been done yet. I'm still getting up to speed on the ML code base, but I'm already experienced with collaborative coding and merging forks from others. The only caveat is that I only own the 50D, so my on-camera testing will be limited.
