mercurial_keyring stopped working

Hi, I have an issue with mercurial_keyring. It just suddenly stopped working and gives me the following error:
** (process:15611): WARNING **: g_set_application_name not set. ** Unknown exception encountered with possibly-broken third-party extension mercurial_keyring ** which supports versions unknown of Mercurial. ** Please disable mercurial_keyring and try your action again. ** If that fixes the bug please report it to the extension author. ** Python 2.6.6 (r266:84292, Sep 11 2012, 08:34:23) [GCC 4.4.6 20120305 (Red Hat 4.4.6-4)] ** Mercurial Distributed SCM (version 2.3.1) ** Extensions loaded: mercurial_keyring

The first time I tried the keyring after installing, it worked properly. In my knowledge there has been no updates to any programs between the time the keyring worked, and the time it stopped working. I disabled the keyring as the error suggested, and it worked. Now I'm reporting this, as I have no clue to what could cause this issue.
Is it something I'm missing here?
