Crashes when committing large number of files

Created originally on Bitbucket by strongcoffee

I have a project with around 7000 files (around 400MB). I was able to add all files, but it crashed when I tried committing it.

Then I tried committing and adding in batches, which worked, but then it also crashed when I tried cloning the repository.

Using Windows XP.
