wrong icon displayed after committing a change set

Created originally on Bitbucket by seegy

I am using tortoisehg 1.1.8 on Windows 7 Pro x64.

After modifying a set of files and committing the change set, Tortoise displays the wrong icon for folders only. (see attached screen shot) All files within the folders with the wrong icon (exclamation mark) correctly show the green check-mark icon.

If I copy the project folder, Tortoise correctly shows the folders as up-to-date. (see attached screen shot again)

What is going on here?

What do I need to do to encourage Tortoise to display the correct icon for the project folder and sub-folders?

Please let me know if more detail is needed.

Thanks, seegy
