observe Gnome and Windows dialog button order
Created originally on Bitbucket by abuehl (Adrian Buehlmann)
I've read that Gnome has a different standard in button layout than Windows.
E.g. Windows would do Ok, Cancel (left to right) whereas for Gnome the standard is Cancel, Ok (left to right).
Gtk+ uses Gnome layout by default.
There seems to be some support for switching this in pygtk http://www.pygtk.org/docs/pygtk/class-gtkdialog.html#method-gtkdialog--set-alternative-button-order
You can get the info from a settings object http://www.pygtk.org/docs/pygtk/class-gtksettings.html
with a default for a specific screen http://www.pygtk.org/docs/pygtk/class-gtksettings.html#function-gtk--settings-get-for-screen
and there seems to be a method to get the default screen http://www.pygtk.org/docs/pygtk/class-gdkscreen.html#function-gdk--screen-get-default
