"Update icons" should force TortoiseHg to show overlay icons on remote repositories

There is a TortoiseHg option that allows you disabling the overlay icons for remote repositories. This is great to improve the performance when accessing remote folders.
However, I think that clicking on the "Update icons" while on a remote repository should force TortoiseHg to ignore that setting temporarily and show you the overlay icons no matter what.
Ideally, TortoiseHg could even keep a (user accessible) list of remote repositories for which you always want to show the remote repositories (ignoring the "general" setting).
This list could be stored on the Global settings of TortoiseHg. Since the overlays would only be shown for certain particular remote folders it seems that this should not impact the speed in which other remote folders were accessed from the computer.
If this were done, for remote respositories the "Update icons" entry could be substituted by a "Show icons for this repository" and "Do not show icons for this repository", so that you could enable/disable the overlays whenever you wanted to.
