upper case chars in path aliases breaks settings tool

Created originally on Bitbucket by Anonymous

Hi,

I tried to use the Alias in the "Paths" tab of the "Settings" windows. I got different behavior for local or global settings, but none of them were working. In the global settings if I enter a repo path with an alias, then apply and close the window, when I open it again, the alias disappeared.

In local settings, when I reopen the window, the path seems to be here, but the alias name is replaced with "new".

Also if I try to delete an alias then apply and close the window, when I open it again, the alias reapeared.

And finally none of the alias I entered in these settings were visibles in the synchronize window (even by clicking on the configure button of this window).

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
