Hello. Thanks as usual for the great SW. This is a funny visual issue that I think I've been noticing since the beginning of using THg. I'll try to explain it with the to attached pictures. Version is 2.1.4
When I start writing the commit comment in its editbox, the blinking cursor black bar is of course right next to the letter I just typed (see picture 'Before'). But there are case when, after I write some letter, the cursor gets displaced by 1 letter to the right, with respect to the actual caret position (see picture 'After').
In the two attached pictures, until I press 'f', everything is ok. But as soon as I press the 'i', the cursor sits 1 more position to the right. If I type a further letter, say 'c', that is printed not at the cursor position but next to the 'i' (see picture 'After 2'). Which is all a little confusing if you are editing in the middle of some text.
It looks to me that apparently this case has to do with font ligatures. When I print 'i' after the 'f', they "get together" and it seems like they take the space of a single letter, leaving a blank between the 'i' and the blinking bar.
Thanks for your attention.

I have largefiles enabled in my user mercurial.ini, but disabled it on a specific project to avoid issue #1392. Whether the project hgrc file is edited with a text editor prior to switching to the extensions list item on the project specific repo tab, or it is edited with the edit button on that tab, hitting OK will remove the line from the project hgrc file completely. Hitting cancel won't erase the settings. Looking at only the user settings and never switching to the project settings tab also preserves the settings.
It seems that maybe that tab is being confused by the largefiles = ! line (as opposed to the unchecked state simply being transferred to the file by the OK button), because if that line is _not_ present, the extensions enabled by the user file are greyed out on the project specific tab. With that disabling line, none of the extensions enabled by the user file are greyed out or check on the project tab.
(Related UI feedback aside: if the check boxes were tri-state, then inherited extensions could be disabled from the gui with one of those states. But with the edit button there, it isn't that big of a deal. I was originally confused that the inherited extensions were greyed out and not checked, because I thought they were unusable on that repo for some reason.)

When I am in the merge rejected patch view, if I copy/paste from the diff area into the file editor, it adds the lines with CRLF line endings. I am running on Windows.
Steps for reproduction:
# Import two changesets into MQ that use LF line endings in their files
# Unapply the second patch
# Alter something in the first patch that conflicts with the second
# Re-apply the second patch
# Answer yes to the dialog that asks if you want to merge the rejected hunk
# Copy/paste a couple of lines from the rejected hunk into the file editor
# Mark the hunk as resolved and save

When I use the purge menu item, I am getting an error about not being able to find a specified path. Using THG 2.2.2 msi.
To recreate:
Create a repo.
Within the repo create a new folder.
Using THG workbench, purge the repo.
At the bottom of the purge dialog I get, for example:
"[Error 3] The system cannot find the path specified: 'D:\Documents\Tmp\Test\To be deleted/*.*'"
(which is the empty folder in the repo). The folder is however deleted.

I was having a problem seeing some tags in TortoiseHg. I went to command
line and typed "hg tags" and it also didn't show the same tags. After
manually editing .hgtags file and commits, I saw that tags would work if
there was 30 characters or less and at 31 characters length, they would not
show up.
For example:
Issue683_SystemTest_Preliminary (does not work)
Issue683_SystemTest_Preliminar (works)
I expect there would be no limit on tag length. Nowhere in the documentation
is that stated.

Hi,
I made some test repo's, a master, and 2 clones, and for some reason the clones are marked as subrepo's in the reporegistry.
The structure is as follows:
{{{
.../path/to/repos1/master
.../path/to/repos2/clone1
.../path/to/repos2/clone2
}}}
As you can see from the structure the 2 clones are not even really stored in a level directly under the master repo. So I suspect an imperfection in the way the reporegistry detects subrepos.

When pushing to remote https repository and commit is blocked by remote hook it is not reported as error. Status message (above history window) is green “Push to https://... aborted, ret 1”.
It should be red (error) because push failed.

**What:** Bug that prevents manually **deselecting files** after selecting all in a particular instance (described below)
**Steps to Reproduce:**
(Using Thg 2.3.1)
* Assume an existing repository with a number of directories, subdirectories, and files, some but not all of which are versioned.
* In Workbench, select ? unknown to show unversioned files.
* Modify an already versioned file.
* Refresh the workbench.
* ** Should show changed file at top of list, with check box ticked (this is fine)
* Now put some text into the filter box to narrow the list of files to only a few of the unversioned files //but not the changed file//
* Select all -- all the files in the filtered list should now be selected (fine)
* **BUG**: Now try to deselect any file -- can't do it! **
** Expectation **
I would expect that if one can select a list of files, one should always be able to deselect a subset of these.
The fact that one cannot seems to be a usability bug if nothing else.
//If the above steps to reproduce are not clear, let me know and I can revise / attach screenshots.//

In TortoiseHg 2.3.1 with Mercurial 2.1.1, when merging changes forward from an original file foo to a copied file foobar, and using the Resolve Conflicts dialog box, If you click **3-Way Diff** or **Diff to Local** for the resolved foobar file, it compares the merged foobar file to the local foo file instead of the local foobar.
This is very confusing if Tool Resolve merged all changes automatically and you want to verify it did the correct thing. Instead of showing the few changes that were copied forward in this merge, it shows all changes that have happened to foobar since it was copied from foo.
I've attached a batch file that creates an example repository to see this in action. After running the batch file, do the following in TortoiseHg.
1. Right-click the tip of default and select **Merge with local...**.
2. Make sure both options are unchecked and click **Next**
3. Click the **Resolved** link to open the Resolve Conflicts dialog box.
4. Select foobar and click **Tool Resolve**.
5. The file is automatically resolved and moves to the Resolved Conflicts area. Select the file and click **3-Way Diff**.
6. Look at the confusing diff. Because it is showing the local foo instead of the local foobar, you can't tell that the only thing the merge changed is the addition of "first" in the first line.

It's however possible to recover the changes made in .hg\Trashcan, but I feel that should be more comfortable to report the error to the user and let him/her know to stop the other process instead of updating to the original version.
I think that the file is not in use after all if it is possible to update it back to the original version... This happens when I have Visual Studio 6.0 with the same file open when I shelve. On earlier version of tortoise, I never had this error, but now in 2.4 yes.
When I try to add files through "HG Add Files" menu context, on a folder, I get the error "no files found for this operation".
Is this a problem? I use this feature many times...

If i commit changes with files, which should be treated as large files, i get asked if i should add the affected files as normal or large files.
Independend of my choice, Tortoise doesn´t show file histories for such files.
