It seems like the keyboard navigation/selection in the right pane (Candidate Matches) of the "Detect Copies/Renames" window is not properly handled.
If I go through the list with the keyboard (arrow up, arrow down) the lower diff pane is not updated.
However the diff pane is updated when I select an item with a mouse click.https://foss.heptapod.net/mercurial/tortoisehg/thg/-/issues/207While clicking on the graph2020-06-21T09:43:08ZBitbucket ImporterWhile clicking on the graph*Created originally on Bitbucket by [stefanostraus (Stefano Straus)](https://bitbucket.org/%7B337e54fb-c616-4561-9eee-ad8d4114c01c%7D/)*

I reported error 195 and if I understand the response it was a duplicate of 181 and has been solved. I did not report how I get the error. After reinstalling version 2 (Mercurial-1.8, Python-2.6.6, PyQt-4.8.2, Qt-4.7.1) I am still getting the error. Follow is the details on how I get the error.
I have multiple revisions a Microsoft Word document in the repository. These files look like binary files to TortoiseHg. When I open Workbench and double click on a version of the word document I get the “Visual Diffs” dialog box with beyondcompare3 in the “Select Tool” text box and the “Directory diff” button. When I click on the “Directory diff” button I get the following error message in a “TortoiseHg Bug Report” dialog box with “Ok”, “Save”, and “Quit” buttons.

Clicking the “Ok” button return to the “Visual Diffs” dialog box.
I added text versions of the file to the repository and the “Visual Diffs” work as expected. The previsions version of Tortoisehg (tortoisehg-1.1.9.1-hg-1.7.5-x86.msi) does display the Word documents in beyondcompare3.

Hi all I am running Ubuntu 10.10 and am having problems with the TortoiseHG 2.0. I have the ppa (https://launchpad.net/~tortoisehg-ppa/+archive/snapshots) registered and working properly. I am getting the following error when trying to install it:
tortoisehg:
Depends: mercurial (<1.8) but 1.8-0ppa1~maverick1 is to be installed
It appears that it requires a version of mercurial less than 1.8. I have version 1.8 of mercurial installed. I am sure it will be fixed soon, but I thought I would post a report anyway.

hg.cmd in tortoisehg 2.0 has side effects compared with the previous hg.exe when added to the windows command-line path.
1. Control-C out of (say) hg status. hg.cmd gives a command line dialog: are you sure you want to exit (Y/N)? hg.exe does not. I prefer the latter.
2. Cygwin shell does not recognise hg.cmd (but hg.exe is recognised).

I am using ssh, if that matters, and my remote repository is located at repositoryhosting.com
I reverted back to v. 1.1.9, and everything worked again.

Using TortoiseHg v2.0.0, due to the settings in my Mercurial.ini file the list of modified files in the "commit" and "status" dialogs is "invisible".
My mercurial.ini contains the following (note that I use the "color" extension):
{{{

status.modified = white bold
status.added = magenta bold
status.removed = red
status.deleted = red bold
status.unknown = white
status.ignored = blue bold
status.clean = none
status.copied = none
}}}
The "white bold" colour for "status.modified" results in the status and commit dialogs having white text on a white background.
Removing the "status.modified" line from the config corrects this, but makes it trickier to see changes on a black-background command window.
Could not find any configuration options to set the colour of text in the dialogs separately.https://foss.heptapod.net/mercurial/tortoisehg/thg/-/issues/256"File history" and "Compare file revisions" do not work from "Manifest" panel2020-06-21T09:44:11ZBitbucket Importer"File history" and "Compare file revisions" do not work from "Manifest" panel*Created originally on Bitbucket by [mrh1997](https://bitbucket.org/%7B268f3edb-3bfc-4d30-bf9f-69183727a159%7D/)*

I try to compare two directories of different branches and as an result the output shown below was upcoming. It means, I select two changesets in different branches and compared it. A window is upcoming and there it's possible to select an file for comparision or it's able to select a directory comparision by button.
The comparision of separate files, selected from the window was succesfull in contrast.

In several cases, the resize of fileview is limited by the filename length.
At least, the horizontal width of the commit window, the status one, the filelog view one should be great enough to display the whole filename.
In some situations, this could create some very big windows.
Strangely, the revdetails widget hides the right part of the filename if the rev is not the working directory
I and colleagues would prefer when the window/widget is resizable whatever the filename length is.
See attached screenshot to see the difference in the workbench between a revision and the working directory.

If you select a revision with a left-mouse click, then Ctrl+click to select another one, it doesn't really work. The first time you ctrl+click, you will have selected the new one, but deselected the old one. What's worse is that the UI will //not// change when you have done this; it will still look like you have selected just the old one when you have selected the new one.
Furthermore, if you ctrl+click twice, you can make the UI look like you have selected multiple non-consecutive revisions, but in reality you will only have selected one.
Either the UI needs to forbid non-consecutive multiple selection (possibly with a sound when you try to ctrl+click), or the UI needs to make non-consecutive multiple selection work.https://foss.heptapod.net/mercurial/tortoisehg/thg/-/issues/282Error when posting to Review Board2020-06-21T09:44:41ZBitbucket ImporterError when posting to Review Board*Created originally on Bitbucket by Anonymous*

This crash appears if "Manage HTTPS connection" is clicked (see the picture).
It is strange because "local" mode is selected and this button shouldn't even be visible. Furthermore, if I select "HTTP" mode and then return to "local" mode, the button disappears.

When clicking on the "Detect outgoing changes to default push target" button I get the error below. This is in TortoiseHg 2.0. In this instance there were no changes to push. The program itself doesn't crash, if I click OK it continues without problem. I can also push changes back to the default push target without problem.

I saw that in <<changeset 805f941ee0c1>>, the 'bin' folder was dropped and the root install directory should have been added to PATH.
However after the install, my PATH still only includes "C:\Program Files\TortoiseHg\bin".

I'm really sorry if this was posted already, I could not find an issue for it.
When passwords for remote urls have special characters, namely `#` the url parsing algorithm breaks and assumes the user:pass before the @ in the url is actually the port. So given an example:
* username: tortoise
* password: iheart#hg
The remote url should be:
https://tortoise:iheart#hg@someserver.com/some/repo
This gets parsed to:
* Host: tortoise
* Port: iheart
The rest gets dropped. Even with a properly url-encoded password this still breaks the url parsing and saves incorrectly.
This functionality worked in TortoiseHG 1.X.Xhttps://foss.heptapod.net/mercurial/tortoisehg/thg/-/issues/328Shelve chunk from file in utf8 encoding2020-06-21T09:45:34ZBitbucket ImporterShelve chunk from file in utf8 encoding*Created originally on Bitbucket by [DyachenkoA (Александр Дьяченко)](https://bitbucket.org/%7B650deebb-9c7b-4e32-9a60-94a903f87f5d%7D/)*
