In the "revision set query" search bar I started typing `author`, and thg auto-completed `author('b\'My Name <me@example.net>\'')` (with the name and email from `ui.username` hg config). That query gives zero results.

It should probably be decoded (in UTF-8?) instead.https://foss.heptapod.net/mercurial/tortoisehg/thg/-/issues/5658Installation of tortoisehg with unavailable mercurial version2020-11-27T21:46:41ZKilianInstallation of tortoisehg with unavailable mercurial version![Screenshot_from_2020-11-27_15-19-11](/uploads/45f0d908473b51019cd31f0c4339fa51/Screenshot_from_2020-11-27_15-19-11.png)![Screenshot_from_2020-11-27_15-19-11](/uploads/45f0d908473b51019cd31f0c4339fa51/Screenshot_from_2020-11-27_15-19-11.png)https://foss.heptapod.net/mercurial/tortoisehg/thg/-/issues/5656Error when creating a new branch with none of the modified files checked2020-11-26T12:19:50ZDarioError when creating a new branch with none of the modified files checkedLet's say you are working on some changes and have some changes in your working directory. After upgrading to Ubuntu 20 LTS, TortoiseHG is no longer available. So I have to build it from source. I have successfully built THG from source with Mercurial 5.3.x branch.
Lately, I have upgraded Mercurial via Python pip to 5.6.x and the old build of THG on Mercurial 5.3.x broke, saying that Mercurial 5.3.x is required.
So, I checked out the THG repository and built on the branch 'stable'. Anything sounded fine, I could start THG UI. Nonetheless, whenever I start pulling incoming changes (from the Menu button), I got an error `failed to import extension tortoisehg.util.hgcommands: No module named mergestate` as following.
```
*** failed to import extension tortoisehg.util.hgcommands: No module named mergestate
% hg pull --verbose ssh://xxx
adding changesets
adding manifests
adding file changes
added 1 changesets with 1 changes to 1 files
new changesets 8377967c8cd2
(run 'hg update' to get a working copy)
```
Regardless the error, the command 'hg pull' seemed to be successful. And the error only shows for the first 'hg pull'. The subsequent pulls are ok, no error showed.
Here is the version information.

I think it was working recently, but at least in this case a box popped up telling me to report the bug.
Maybe same as #5620, but that was marked as a duplicate of #5588. But the latter says the issue was fixed in 5.5, but the report below indicates I'm on 5.5.
