Right now THG in the Workbench revision history panel seems to sort all the entries by the order they have in the topology of HG history.
However this results in strange cases where consecutive operations on the same branch are not shown consecutively.
In the attachment I show one example of this, where the yellow changesets interrupt the flow in the adjacent blue branch. Ideally all the blue changesets would be shown without interruption.
This would make following / comprehending the branch / merge history a lot easier in many cases, IMO. Even in simple cases right now it is quite hard to follow visually.

As a new THg user, I find it weird that the **User Authentication** dialog is inside the Workbench instead of **Repository Settings**.
Moreover, location of **User Authentication** is not obvious and not easily found. I had to spend some time to figure out that it is inside **Synchronize** > the little padlock icon in the middle of panel!
Please consider to put this part inside **Repository Settings** which would make more sense.https://foss.heptapod.net/mercurial/tortoisehg/thg/-/issues/4835inotify_add_watch failed2020-06-21T11:07:25ZBitbucket Importerinotify_add_watch failed*Created originally on Bitbucket by [Jgariano (John Gariano)](https://bitbucket.org/%7B26395f32-1347-401b-8f9b-e9cde9f84a90%7D/)*

I often use the same commit message for minor commits by using the "Copy message" dropdown list. But even the message is used often, sooner or later it goes out from the list, as new messages come to the top, and my favourite just goes down. Hi,
I had created an Atlassian support ticket BBS-54550, through which I got a reference to create the ticket here.
The issue is cloning of bitbucket repository through Tortoise hg tool.
We are receiving transaction aborted error on cloning action for various repositories. PFA.
All repositories are under team "energycomponents".
We tried cloning repositories with different users from different site offices (networks), but still the problem persists.
As a workaround, the affected users are using the SourceTree tool for successful cloning of the repository.
We don't want to restrict the users to use a particular tool, hence need a fix for this issue.
Do let me know if you need any more details.
Awaiting the resolution.
Regards,
Akhil

Steps to reproduce:
* Click on "Branch: default" button to open the branch operation dialog
* Choose "Open a new named branch" and enter an integer as the name, for example 1
* Click OK
* At this point, the name is accepted and no error is shown. The button's text changes to "New Branch: 1"
* Add some files/changes and commit
* A confirmation prompt appears, asking if I want to create a new named branch "1"
* Select "Create Branch"
* An error appears with text "abort: cannot use an integer as a name [Code: 255]" (image attached)
Expected outcome:
* The branch operation dialog should check the name for this before accepting it when you press OK.
Also, at that point, the error would be clearer. The first time I got this error, both the branch name and commit message were integers and I wasn't sure which one the message was referring to.

The current branch coloring strategy is pretty bad for versioned branch names as it collides very often.
E.g. `_hashcolor('V1_2') == _hashcolor('V2_1') == _hashcolor('V3_0')`.
Additionally, the color for these branch names is the default blue color. So everything is blue if you have these active 4 branches. This is really ugly!
My proposals:
* Do not reuse the "default" color. It's very likely that the default branch is always active and near top, so another branch shouldn't get this color.
* Use a proper hash function instead of `sum(ord(...` to prevent collisions in versioned branches

I've been able to reliably reproduce this problem accross many different versions of TortoiseHg for at least a year and it has been a quite annoying issue. The problem gets worse with larger repositories, i.e. the icons take longer to come back.
I've tried reinstalling TortoiseHg multiple times, with fresh configurations, with or without the shell extenstions or the overlay server, the issue is *always* there. TortoiseHg seems to do *something* to Explorer.exe that makes it reload all icons.https://foss.heptapod.net/mercurial/tortoisehg/thg/-/issues/4700Push failed and another head was made2020-06-21T11:04:55ZBitbucket ImporterPush failed and another head was made*Created originally on Bitbucket by Anonymous*

When pushing to a remote git server, the remote tag for the branch does not update it's position in the commit list. Default, Master, tip, etc.. all move as expected. Closing and re-opening the workbench is necessary to show that the remote branch tag has in fact moved to be in sync. Just closing and open the repo (while not closing the workbench) is not enough to make it update either, the workbench must be exited.https://foss.heptapod.net/mercurial/tortoisehg/thg/-/issues/4674Windows 10 - Vertical Scrolling2020-06-21T11:04:19ZBitbucket ImporterWindows 10 - Vertical Scrolling*Created originally on Bitbucket by Anonymous*

Hi,
Great tool!
When the Mouse setting is "One screen at a time" the up and down movements of the wheel, go in the same direction. You can change the mouse setting for Vertical Scrolling back to lines and the scrolling behaviour returns to normal.
Thanks,
