When I installed the preview installer earlier today, I chose to install the x86 Shell Extension in addition to the x64 Shell Ext., and chose not to install any Translations. Now when I run final 2.0 installer the default settings are selected again.
Ideally the installer would persist the components selected for the previously installed version.https://foss.heptapod.net/mercurial/tortoisehg/thg/-/issues/170From window "TortoiseHg Bug Report"2020-06-21T09:42:17ZBitbucket ImporterFrom window "TortoiseHg Bug Report"*Created originally on Bitbucket by Anonymous*

We are looking for a mechanism inside Mercurial or TortoiseHG to enable us to add text to a commit comment as it is performed.
The reason for this is simple: We would like developers to be able to associate their commits to specific feature requests or time tracking tasks.
Therefore, users could go in and perform a commit, enter the commit message they want and apply their commit. Our hook could then execute and add additional information to the commit comment.
I believe this feature would be pretty useful in a lot of different integrations.
We are already using the latest RC for TortoiseHG 2.0, and I did not find any way to do this without modifying the code.https://foss.heptapod.net/mercurial/tortoisehg/thg/-/issues/168Bug report on repositories placed in disk root2020-06-21T09:42:16ZBitbucket ImporterBug report on repositories placed in disk root*Created originally on Bitbucket by [janrysavy](https://bitbucket.org/%7B61c3d35c-7bbe-484c-b79f-dba3feea7553%7D/)*

Calculation of columns width seems to has some small deviation in Windows 7, so horizontal scrollbar is always displayed. See attached screenshot. I need to enlarge main window width by 3 pixels to hide horizontal scrollbar. The problem is back with next refresh.
Is it intention?

When the Source or Destination fields has some items in history (visible in combobox drop-down), it is not possible to choose item from history, but with different case. When the focus leave combobox, updated path is overwritten with one from history.
Example: have following item in combobox history:

Select it and modify to ('t' -> 'T'):
ssh://hg@example.com/repo/Test
and press Tab key to leave focus from combobox.

I just had very unpleasant feeling after some operation. I tried to rename a patch. Apparently there was still some old patch file on disk with the same name (without the patch still existing in series). That made the app go astray. It deleted the whole patch folder! Luckily it was still in the Recycle Bin, so I could recover it. I had to correct the series file, which did not have the name change, while the patchfile did get renamed though.https://foss.heptapod.net/mercurial/tortoisehg/thg/-/issues/160Dragging in the resolve dialog's "Resolved Conflicts" pane causes traceback2020-06-21T09:42:01ZBitbucket ImporterDragging in the resolve dialog's "Resolved Conflicts" pane causes traceback*Created originally on Bitbucket by [datallah (Daniel Atallah)](https://bitbucket.org/%7B44ebc167-d318-4016-b50f-de396d192555%7D/)*

When attempting to perform a cross-branch merge, I'm getting the following error:
"UiSignal.progressSig...*Created originally on Bitbucket by [datallah (Daniel Atallah)](https://bitbucket.org/%7B44ebc167-d318-4016-b50f-de396d192555%7D/)*
When attempting to perform a cross-branch merge, I'm getting the following error:
"UiSignal.progressSignal[QString, object, QString, QString, object].emit(): argument 3 has unexpected type 'NoneType'
I had immediately previously performed a successful cross-branch merge, so there must be something more specific about the situation that is causing the error.
This was running from source at the latest current THg revision(96d0577fea47) and Hg (9c5aae633d5f).
The attached file is a screenshot since I couldn't copy and paste the output.

When you double click on the "Description" column title on the workbench the column is not resized to the size of the longest description. Instead it the column becomes very small (perhaps it is being resized to the size of the word "Description"?).
Maybe this is done for performance reasons, but the current behavior is really not useful. It'd be best if double clicking just did nothing at all (bt I'd prefer that it resized the column correctly).
