Wishlist: Auto Exclude List should support globs

Created originally on Bitbucket by plundberg (Per Lundberg)

Hi,

It would be extremely nice if the Auto Exclude List in the Commit settings of TortoiseHg would support globs - like *, *.cs, *.xml or whatever the things are that you want to exclude.

My normal usage pattern is that I always (or almost always) exclude all files when I want to commit. Then, I specifically checkmark those files that relate to each other, write a comment for those, and perform the commit. When working like this, it's a bit annoying to have to manually uncheck them all first, every single time.

So, that's why this issue would be really nice to have implemented at some point.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
