Context menu THg Revision History only works if workbench is closed
Created originally on Bitbucket by fernandonajera (Fernando Nájera)
Tested with THg 2.9.1 and 2.9.2
Situation 1:
Steps:
- Workbench is closed
- Select a folder in Windows Explorer, right click, choose TortoiseHg - Revision History
- Workbench opens, opens the repository, puts the filter "file("...")" and executes it, after a few moments it shows the revision(s) affected.
Result:
- It works as expected
Situation 2:
Steps:
- Workbench is opened, but no repositories are opened.
- Select a folder in Windows Explorer, right click, choose TortoiseHg - Revision History
- Workbench gets the focus, opens the repository, but it doesn't put any filter, so all the revisions are shown.
Result:
- I expect the repository to be filtered as in situation 1
- Workaround: close the workbench completely and try again.
Situation 3:
Steps:
- Workbench is opened, the repository in question is opened too.
- Select a folder in Windows Explorer, right click, choose TortoiseHg - Revision History
- Workbench gets the focus, opens the repository, but it doesn't put any filter, so all the revisions are shown.
Result:
- I expect the repository to be filtered as in situation 1, or even better, that TortoiseHg opens a second tab for the repository and it does the filtering there (so it doesn't "corrupt" the state of my already-opened repository)
- Workaround: close the workbench completely and try again.
