Retain settings after restart

Created originally on Bitbucket by Anonymous

I typically set the filetype filter (under the weird "?" icon next to FilterText on the commit panel) to a non-default setting (I don't like to see "unknown" files in the changelist). However, I have to reset this every time I restart as my settings aren't saved.

Could you save the settings on this dropdown and reset them on startup?

Thanks!
