SSH issue with git repos (v3.1)
Created originally on Bitbucket by tkhyn (Thomas Khyn)
Hi and thanks for TortoiseHg,
I have recently upgraded to 3.1, and noticed an issue when using ssh with hggit on win7 (git+ssh:).
I have Pageant running with the relevant SSH key loaded, and everything works fine from the command line (hg push and pull to and from git repo). Everything works fine as well from TortoiseHg when pulling using git: scheme (i.e. without using ssh).
The issue is the same whichever hggit I'm using (thg built-in or manually installed in python environment), and I've tried to disable all the extensions except hggit.
TortoiseHg verbose output log:
#!batch
% hg pull --verbose --force --debug git+ssh://git@github.com/tkhyn/dirsync.git
pulling from git+ssh://git@github.com/tkhyn/dirsync.git
calling ssh: "TortoisePlink.exe" -ssh -2 git@github.com "git-upload-pack '/tkhyn/dirsync.git'"

Sent EOF message
Server sent command exit status 0
Disconnected: All channels closed
[... 2nd attempt, same output ...]

If I launch the same command but with the standard plink.exe:
#!batch
[...]

Opened main channel

- Pointing
ui.ssh
to the standard plink does not change anything - ssh (hg) works fine with bitbucket
- git+ssh does not work with bitbucket either (so that's not a github only issue)
I am happy to post more details about my config (which has not changed during the upgrade from 2.11.2 to 3.1) if needed.
Thanks in advance for looking at this.
