Selective commit/shelve broken on large files
Created originally on Bitbucket by Deozaan
This problem occurs only when dealing with files which have a filesize larger than maxdiff, which is 1024 KB by default.
If I deselect certain diffs for exclusion in a commit, they are included in the commit anyway.
Selective Commits
I commit the changes and then review the changeset to see the following:
Shelving
Similar problems occur if I try to shelve certain diffs. If no shelf exists, TortoiseHG will create a new one, but nothing will get added to it. If a shelf exists, the diffs get added to a shelf, but they also remain in the original file.
This problem occurs in 3.1.2, 3.1.1 for sure. And possibly even further back. I can't remember exactly what version I first encountered this problem in, since usually files that are this large are also binary, and therefore committing/shelving selective diffs isn't possible.
This is in the Windows x64 version.
