Created originally on Bitbucket by krandell (Kim Randell)
- In a temporary folder, run the following commands in a Windows command prompt:
hg init master
hg clone master slave
echo. > slave\hgrc_shared
echo %include ../hgrc_shared >> slave/.hg/hgrc
- Open 'slave' in TortoiseHg Workbench
- Select View -> Console
- Pull. You should see:
% hg pull --verbose "<root>\master"
pulling from <root>\master
no changes found
[command completed successfully <date>]
slave%
- Run:
echo. >> slave/.hg/hgrc
interrupted! will appear in the Console input buffer. Upon subsequent operations (e.g. pull), it will remain there until manually removed.
