Erroneous information in Commit tab following patch fold
Created originally on Bitbucket by clechasseur (Charles Lechasseur)
OS: Windows 7 x64
TortoiseHg version 3.2.1
Steps to reproduce:
- Commit changeset a, then changeset b.
- Select changeset a and choose "Import to MQ" (changeset b gets imported too).
- Select changeset b and choose "Unapply Patch".
- Select the unapplied patch and choose "Fold patches...". In the dialog, modify the patch message to "TESTING". Click OK.
- Select the Commit tab.
Although the patch's message appears corect in the graph view, in the Commit, the message is still the one of the MQ patch into which you folded (e.g., the message of changeset a) and not "TESTING". If you choose "Finish Patch" at this point, there's problem. However, if you make changes and press QRefresh, the patch's message is reset to the message of the original changeset.
Furthermore, whether you make changes or not, after choosing "Finish Patch", the Commit view is frozen into its old state with modified files, as if there was something to commit. Refreshing the status doesn't work. You have to select another changeset then come back to fix it.
