Sort by Name mixes folders and files

Created originally on Bitbucket by teo8976 (Teo Tei)

Steps to reproduce:

  • right-click on a folder containing both repositories and subfolders on the left panel
  • select "sort by name"

Expected: It should sort first all subfolders in alphabetical order, and then all repositories in alphabetical order

Observed: it mixes both, so you get a list with repositories interleaved with subfolders.

If you think that some people may actually prefer this way of sorting (I seem to remember that Mac OS's Finder does the same by default, which is insane but some may be used to it), then both options may be provided.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
