Windows 10 right click hangs with TortoiseHG
Created originally on Bitbucket by Anonymous
Hi all, I've just received the Windows 10 update (from Windows 8.1), 64bits, Italian language, and after re-installing TortoiseHG (I removed all softwares before the updates), the mouse right click on any icon brings up the "wait" cursor and freezes. With about a pair of clicks on the desktop the Windows explorer.exe stops and restarts and everything works again, but I can't see the context menu (and the TortoiseHG context commands). This happens on desktop icons, on zip files icons, ... any icon, even those not part of a Hg repository.
It happens with THG 3.4.1 and 3.4.2 64bits. Uninstalling THG, the right click works perfectly (but I can't work on my Hg repositories...) and even installing THG without the shell extension causes the right click hangs.
On Windows 8.1, with 3.4.1 everything worked perfectly.
