Workbench annotations view crashes in large repository
Created originally on Bitbucket by Piskvor (Jan Martinec)
Steps to reproduce:
- have a large HG repo (2+ years of active development, many users; CNR on a small personal repo)
- open TortoiseHG Workbench
- select any revision
- switch to "Revision Details" view
- select any file in that revision
- switch to "Annotate with revision numbers"
- hg command runs:
#!bash
% hg annotate --line-number --text --rev 20384 --number -T pickle --file application/controllers/SystemController.php
[command completed successfully Fri Nov 20 09:13:20 2015]
- view remains unstyled
- error reporting window pops up
#!python

Reproduced first in HG 3.4.2, then also in 3.6.1; vanilla install, no extensions enabled. Tried running the hg annotate
command shown in console, which resulted in a 200k result of 19855 lines; perhaps the size might contribute to the problem?
