Issue created Dec 27, 2017 by Bitbucket Importer@bitbucket_importerOwner

Merge rejected patch chunks window: Need flexible splitter to adjust size of upper/lower pane

Created originally on Bitbucket by thomasdd (Thomas D.)

STR

  1. Merge rejected patch chunks window
  2. Large unresolved chunk
  3. Try to move the boundary between upper pane (showing merge target) and lower pane (showing patch) to temporarily see more of your patch

Actual result

  • can't do it
  • patch view is very small, and fixed in size. Might be right as a default, but fixed size is a problem.
  • unable to temporarily expand the size of the lower pane to see more of the patch

Expected result

  • Have a splitter and allow user to freely drag and adjust the size of lower vs. upper pane according to the specific needs of understanding the current chunk or the merge target in context
