Created Jan 09, 2018 by Bitbucket Importer@bitbucket_importerOwner

After renaming a patch from Patch Queue (hg qrename), it should remain selected

Created originally on Bitbucket by thomasdd (Thomas D.)

STR

  1. Select patch from patch queue
  2. F2 to rename, confirm new name
  3. observe patch queue selection

Actual result

  • lost selection in patch queue
  • but UI is still showing this patch

Expected result

  • restore selection after renaming
  • selection must always match UI state (if patch is selected/shown on the right (repository list), it must be selected/shown on the left, too (patch queue).

Those failed UI states, while inconsequential as such, are causing a lot of confusion and forcing user to constantly re-select in the patch queue to ascertain a correct UI state.
