TortoiseHG is not asking for SSH password in Ubuntu 18.04

Created originally on Bitbucket by Anonymous

Hello,

TortoiseHG is not asking for SSH password in Ubuntu 18.04.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open TortoiseHG without a terminal.
  2. Click the pull button

Expected result:

  1. A prompt is shown asking for ssh password

Actual result:

  1. TortoiseHG behaves as if it is waiting for the password, but no way to write it is shown

Additional comments:

  • If you open TortoiseHG from a terminal, the password is asked in the terminal.
  • The prompt shows in Ubuntu 16.10.
  • The Ubuntu library needed for this to work (askpass) is installed & working when you call it independently from tortoiseHG.

Version used -> Last one in Ubuntu apt repository.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
