GUI on Tortoise Workbench unresponsive to mouse - perhaps this is why?

I found out a client was using a different version of Tortoise Hg than me, and thus was quite mystified when I told them to look for a "Repository Explorer". Seeing this, I went and upgraded to the stable version offered by the website, from version 1.1.3. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to use it, as the GUI on Tortoise Workbench is unresponsive to left mouse clicks, and right mouse clicks all tend to produce a context menu with the options "Copy", "Select All", "Wrap", "Whitespace", and "EolnVisibility".
I also have Blender 2.5x installed (which uses python, IIRC), and, I think, an Eclipse Mercurial plugin.
After a while, it threw this at me and told me to report it: {{{ #!python ** Mercurial version (1.8.3).
