Pull before commit

Created originally on Bitbucket by davidscherer (David Scherer)

I often forget to pull from bitbucket before committing, and have to "undo" a commit when the push warns about extra heads. I would love to have an option to "pull before commit", similar to "push after commit", which would automatically pull when I click commit. If the pull makes my working revision not a head (I don't have "update after pull" on), then I should see a warning and have a chance to cancel the commit.

I would also like to have a keyboard shortcut for "pull".

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
