'create' method execution frozen or extremly slow

In my case closing a stock period, the process try to create 900.000 records aprox. In +3h of execution it was still not finished. https://hg.tryton.org/modules/stock/file/tip/period.py#l157

Testing and using trytond.tools.grouped_slice, the same example finished in 2-3 min.

If it is so slow or it is possible that it freezes when there are a lot of records, shouldn't it be treated by default in create method?
