problem maturity date with grouping payment lines

I group a supplier credit note from 2018 with a recent invoice.
The payment group movement picked today's date for the move, with
the maturity_date from 2018!
Perhaps the intuitive date would be the similar as with reconciliation, that is the latest of the maturity_dates
