Tags not getting pushed when using -B

Created originally on Bitbucket by gcewing

When I push without using the -B option, any new tags I've added in hg get pushed to git as expected.

But when I use -B, a tag only gets pushed if it's on the exact revision labelled by the bookmark I'm pushing. This is very inconvenient, since hg tag causes another commit and moves the current bookmark, so the tag I just added gets missed. The only way to get the tag pushed seems to be to temporarily move the bookmark back to the tagged revision.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
