Installing fluidsim in Miniconda3 on Windows 7

I'm running python 3.7 on Windows 7 via Miniconda3, trying to install fluidsim; I get a long list of syntax errors from one file fluidsim/base/time_stepping\pseudo_spect_cy.c. Any ideas? I have already installed cython, pythran and mpi4py as recommended.
