Cannot push git commit as it is not present locally
Summary
I have a large Mercurial repo hosted by Heptapod 0.38.1. A couple of days ago I merged a large number of old branches (>100) into a single branch. If it matters, the name of this branch begins with a dot, the rest of the name is letter-only.
The repo works fine locally, but when I attempt pushing it, I get the following message:
remote: cannot push git commit 479ab0d3537d as it is not present locally
remote: (please try pulling first, or as a fallback run git-cleanup to re-export the missing commits)
abort: push failed on remote
I am at loss. There is no git involved (apart from Heptapod-side internal git). There is no commit "479ab0d3537d" in the Hg history. Any hints would be greatly appreciated.
I'd attach the log, but not sure which one is relevant here.
