5D Mark III err01 with Exposure Override and Dandelion chip
Created originally on Bitbucket by Piotr_23
Installed ML 2014-03-26. Started playing with the manual lens, Zeiss Planar 50 mm attached to the camera with the Dandelion chip, like this: http://tinyurl.com/ow3bsl5. I programmed the chip so it knows that the lowest f number is 1.6. Now, when Exposure Override is OFF. I can take well exposed pictures with f 1.6-8.0. But when I set Exposure Override to ON, and set both lens aperture as well the f on camera to 1.6 or 2.8 or 4.0: fine, but setting both values to 5.6 or 8.0: bump: the err 01 appears (Camera lost the contact with lens) and I have to reboot. The contacts are clean, it only occurs with Exposure Override mode ON. The camera saves the log, attached. Could it be similar to https://bitbucket.org/hudson/magic-lantern/issue/1935/5d-mark-iii-err01-the-camera-is-damage ? or this: https://bitbucket.org/hudson/magic-lantern/issue/1486/err-01-eos-550d-and-tamron-sp-17-50-f-28 or this: https://bitbucket.org/hudson/magic-lantern/issue/1921/aperture-control-unstable ?
