Obsolete hg-git tags break 'hg tags'
Created originally on Bitbucket by Louis des Landes
- Clone a git repo.
- Update to a tag that was created by hg-git (eg. default/master)
hg up default/master
- Do an amend commit
hg commit --amend
- Run
hg tags
Expected: Should still list default/master, pointing to the obsolete tag (mercurial by default currently will show tags which are obsolete)
Actual: Error message: abort: 00changelog.i@c65c206d57c04673c6cc8b41f8f074801924b37e: filtered node!
Note that hg tags --hidden
will work still.
Also note that when using local tags without hg-git, this works just fine. ie.
hg init .
touch blah
hg add blah
hg commit
hg tag -l testtag
hg commit --amend
hg tags
