hg: remove unreachable code
While working on !547 (merged) , I was inspecting the hg script and realized that there's a whole code branch that's seemingly unreachable. This MR proposes to remove that unreachable code.
All legacy (hg-git based) Projects have been automatically migrated to native with the upgrade of 2025-01-23
