Issue with default keyring + mercurial_keyring
Created originally on Bitbucket by chaica
Hi,
I've got trouble when using the default keyring (not the GNOME one, not the KDE one) and mercurial_keyring :
{{{ #!python
chaica@sid:/tmp$ hg clone https://chaica@bitbucket.org/chaica/test/ http authorization required realm: Bitbucket.org HTTP user: chaica (fixed in .hg/hgrc) password: Please set a password for your new keyring Password: Password (again): Please input your password for the keyring Password: destination directory: test requesting all changes adding changesets adding manifests adding file changes added 9 changesets with 9 changes to 1 files updating working directory 1 files updated, 0 files merged, 0 files removed, 0 files unresolved chaica@sid:/tmp$ cd test/ chaica@sid:/tmp/test$ ls montest.py chaica@sid:/tmp/test$ vi montest.py chaica@sid:/tmp/test$ hg commit montest.py No username found, using 'chaica@sid' instead chaica@sid:/tmp/test$ hg push http authorization required realm: Bitbucket.org HTTP user: chaica (fixed in .hg/hgrc) password: Please input your password for the keyring Password: pushing to https://chaica@bitbucket.org/chaica/test/ searching for changes adding changesets adding manifests adding file changes added 1 changesets with 1 changes to 1 files bb/acl: chaica is allowed. accepted payload. quota: 3.9 KB in use, 1.0 GB available (0.00% used) chaica@sid:/tmp/test$ }}}
So I'm checking out my test repo on bitbucket, providing the password and the keyring password, after that I modified the file and commited and pushed but mercurial asked me my password again.
{{{ #!python
~/.hgrc: [extensions] mercurial_keyring =
test/.hg/hgrc: [paths] default = https://chaica@bitbucket.org/chaica/test/
~/home/chaica/crypted_pass.cfg: [Mercurial] chaica@@https://bitbucket.org/chaica/test/ = RtlggwByvg==
chaica@@https = //bitbucket.org/chaica/test/ = RtlggwByvg==
[keyring-setting] crypted-password = 948jTVGeYVNlM }}}
Let me know if I'm missing something,
Bye, Carl
