Check for incoming changesets at first commit
Created originally on Bitbucket by tombc
Not sure if we are doing things the wrong way, but for us a very common experience is to not pull & update before commiting, which requires a local merge, which again looses all not committed changes.
Hence we always try to remember to check for incoming changes before commiting but sometimes forget to do so and end up with the additional merge changesets and lost local changes.
Hence i would love to have some warning "Hey, don't commit yet, young man. There are incoming changes to pull!" at the very first commit.
