Segmentation faults on Linux command line
Created originally on Bitbucket by Greg_Himself (Greg G)
I recently installed tortoisehg on my CentOS (RHEL5) machine, building from source with versions: TortoiseHg 2.6.2, Mercurial 2.4.2, PyQt 4.9.6, Qt 4.8.4, and Python 2.7.0
When I run "thg", a dialog spawns for less than a second and immediately closes, and the only command line output is "Segmentation fault". The same thing happens with "thg clone", "thg log", "thg init", etc. The only commands that work appear to be those that do not generate a dialog (e.g. "thg version"). "thg about" also works in spawning the about dialog, but when I try to close this dialog, the terminal hangs.
None of this is affected by running as root or a regular user.
