Blinking cursor on inactive text fields
Created originally on Bitbucket by jmb (Jérôme Berger)
There is a blinking cursor in text fields (notably the commit message and the diff viewer) even when another widget is focused.
This is especially annoying in the commit message field: I look at the field, see a blinking cursor so I think it is active, start typing and nothing happens.

Note that:
- The blinking cursor disappears when the whole thg window is inactive (i.e. another window is active).
- With the PyQt examples and demos, I get the expected behavior for text fields (the cursor disappears when another widget is focused).
Steps to reproduce:
- Open a repository;
- Switch to the "Commit" view;
- Click inside the commit message text field → a cursor appears and starts blinking;
- Click on some other widget (for example the files list).
Expected behaviour:
The cursor in the commit message text field should disappear or at least stop blinking and become fixed.
Actual behaviour:
There is still a blinking cursor in the commit message text field, but no text appears there if I start typing.
