Parsing errors in .hgrc with the "keyword" extension
Created originally on Bitbucket by JeanDo (JeanDo NA)
Every time the Workbench displays a changeset of files that have keyword expansion, I get the following message:
Error string "%(arg0s" at %(arg1)s
Please edit your config
Context
-
I recently upgraded to 3.8.4, but had not the problem before (version 2.xx)
-
The minimal
.hgrc
that triggers the error contains: [extensions] keyword = [keyword] **.cpp = In which case, I have the above error only when displaying .cpp files -
If the changeset does not contains files that have keyword expension, or if I click on a file (eg. .h with the hgrc aboce) that do not have keyword expension, it is display correctly and without error
-
If I disable keyword expansion for a file type (eg. adding the
ignore
option in hgrc), I do not have the error anymore. -
If I disable completely the keyword expansion (ie. removing the line
keyword =
in hgrc), I do not have the error anymore. -
Commands
hg update
,hg kwexpand
orhg wshrink
are perfectly happy with the incriminated hgrc file -
I have the same bug woth on Windows and MacOSX
