TortoiseHg crash when opening settings dialog
Created originally on Bitbucket by ManuelS_DMO (Manuel Stumpf)
When I try to open a local repository in the workbench I receive the following error:
#!python

I am not sure wether this is related to TortoiseHg or the underlying Mercurial itself. I do not have this problem on all machines, but was not yet able to find out what the difference is, which makes this problem appear.
Cloning a repository gives (for example the mercurial main repo "https://www.mercurial-scm.org/repo/hg"):
#!python
% hg clone --verbose https://www.mercurial-scm.org/repo/hg "C:\bin\hg"

At least this shows possible problem with hggit extension (which might not be installed on all my machines, so this might be it). Okay so I try to disable hggit. I go to "File" -> "Settings" and I get the next error. I cannot open the settings dialog. This is where I am stuck. Anybody knows what do I have to do to be able to open the TortoiseHg settings dialog?
