I didn't see a bug on this, so I'm filing one. Please do close it if you have another/better one.
Short version: I'd like to know when you stop distributing Python 2.7 binaries, as that means I can stop maintaining hg-git with Python 2.7. And Python 2.7 is most certainly pining for the fjords these days

Oh, nice! I knew some work was done in this area, but I wasn't sure if it was just for core hg, or if it was complete. How hard would it be to automate this, so that it's built automatically when a tag is applied? The mac builds should be pretty close to fully automated, if we had a mac. (Uploading the finished deliverable is probably layer of complexity.) Also, any idea how to build *.deb packages?
I didn't get a change to reply to this message yet, but: I think it should be very easy, as building is simply 'make docker-centos7' or 'make docker-centos8'.
For Debian, I haven't tried to build those before, I'm not sure.
I think hg-git no longer supports py3 now, so this can be closed? I've added it back into the py3 installer, but I'm not feeling particularly motivated to add the ssh-only version into py2 at this point.
Now that a release candidate for thg is available, I'm going to close this. We probably need to figure out some way to LMK if I should grab an hg-git update (or wait for one to be available), since it is not packaged again but I'm not in the habit of checking on it.
