Strip (extension) dialog options confusing/contradictory
Following ticket #1865 (closed), the dialog for Strip... (in Modify History, from a commit's contextual menu) contains 3 options:
- Discard local changes, no backup (-f/--force)
- No backup (-n/--nobackup)
- Do not modify working copy during strip (--keep)
I don't know what these do, but as a user with 1 year of Mercurial experience, I find these quite confusing. Some of these must be misleading, since the descriptions seem to allow contradictions. If #1 (closed) is enabled,
- disabling #2 (closed), is a backup taken?
- enabling #3 (closed), is the working copy modified?
In addition, despite TortoiseHg's language being set to English, as the screenshot shows, several labels (like the button at the bottom) are in French.
Additionally, the Show Detail button bottom left, which controls the display of a textarea, is confusing. I have no idea whatsoever what role plays this field.
