Subtle dual use of Ctrl+Shift+E is confusing
If the ☆ Working Directory ☆
line is highlighted:
- Ctrl+Shift+E performs "Edit Local" on a selected file
But if a past commit is highlighted:
- Ctrl+Shift+E performs "View at Revision" on a selected file
I always found this dual use confusing and hard to remember what it would do. I think this is reinforced because whether you open the local copy of a file or a prior revision, the editor that comes up looks almost exactly the same.
Personally I think it would be preferable if the hotkey always retained the same exact meaning. Since "Edit Local" exists in both contexts, probably it should have the same hotkey all the time.
Thanks
