Unable to read a simple xslx created with OpenOffice.org
Created originally on Bitbucket by onyxfish (Christopher Groskopf)
Eric,
I've been testing out openpyxl as a xslx reader solution for a csv toolkit suite I'm building out (https://github.com/onyxfish/csvkit). I've been doing most of my testing on linux and have run into a problems getting openpyxl to read a simple xslx created with OO. I'm hoping you can tell me if this is just OO being a bad xslx writer or if this is a valid issue:
During read_sheets_titles() the parser is looking for several elements in app.xml which don't seem to exist. There is no 'TitlesOfParts' element, nor are there "HeadingPairs" as expected by get_number_of_parts().
That said, this code all seems to be done to the end of getting sheet names and those are available (and ostensibly easier to parse) from workbook.xml.
Thoughts on this? The problem file is attached for your perusal.
Thanks, Chris
