Wrong conversion of exadecimals
Created originally on Bitbucket by Anonymous
I have an excel file that contains a cell with value "1e1", that is an integer exadecimal number. When that cell is read by openpyxl, cell value is converted to float value 10.0 (in cell.py, function data_type_for_value() ). This operation is wrong because excel scentific number format is "1,e+1", comma and sign after "e" are mandatory. So "1e1" is a legal float number in python but it is not in excel.
